how feng shui works

Feng shui (FS) works with nature in circular structure. The circular form allows one to move around to attain the desired emotion. This understanding allows us to visualize where we are and how we can move forward to what we want.
Each direction is associated with an element, season and time of the day as well as positive and negative emotions, habits, hobbies and project cycles.
Clients express what they are currently feeling or their present situation and what they ideally want to feel or accomplish. Then the using FS techniques, we bring in materials, colours, etc. to support and strengthen their end goal.
Each spaced is accessed for its physical characteristics such as the amount of windows and their views, sunlight, location, surroundings, size of the space, etc.
Then the space is compared to what the client want to feel in the room. Do they need a place to relax and unwind? Or they need a space that can help to focus or be energetic?
Comparing these two analysis allows us to bridge between the emotional purpose and the physical capabilities of the room. This in turn influences the types of colours, materials, furniture size and structure.
